Congratulations, my President

Congratulations to the American people, for their 44th non-violent transfer of power.
Congratulations to Barack Heussein Obama, for being elected this nation’s very first African-American president.
I look forward to continue serving this nation I have been called to. I anticipate participating in the great things that will happen on this earth over the next four years. Healing a planet, committing a workforce, establishing global peace and justice, and offering hope to the hopeless.
While I understand myself as an American, it is not my primary identity. I am proud to participate in the dream of democracy and freedom in our age, but it is not enough to commit my primary identity to. Even more than my national citizenship, I am a citizen of the world. Even more than that, I have a citizenship in a Kingdom, whose leader brought hope and change long ago: My Lord, my CEO, my President – Jesus Christ.
Congratulations, Jesus Christ, for 2,000 years non-violent subversion of power – even when your church took other paths.
Congratulations on offering a chance of communion with God to me and every person.
Congratulations Jesus Christ, my President.
