LOST: I’ll Be Your Constant

Not gonna lie. Obama’s inauguration yesterday was nice, but let’s be honest – everyone’s really been holding out for the season premier of LOST Season 5!
Will Jack and Ben really reunite and work together to bring the Oceanic 6 back to the island? Even if they do, will they ever find the island again after it mysteriously disappeared? What’s up with time travel? What’s up with the monster? A few theories:
The monster is a creation of Ben. Certainly he could have used that against the Dharma Initiative during “the Purge” – but as a young man it wasn’t around yet. It responds to his command, and won’t tell anyone else what it is. It’s Ben’s “security system.”
The island was moved not only in place, but also in time. Either that, or it was further cloaked (previously it was only visible through following a specific coordinates, now you must also set your clocks back an hour!)
John Locke is only dead because he lost his constant (time travel requires a constant to keep from having seizures). I think he’ll still be alive on the island in the future/past.
Ben and Charles Widmore are both insanely rich guys who are “playing a game” similar to the short story The Most Dangerous Game, which involves an island and a rich man who has hunted every animal on earth, and has begun hunting humans too! I think Widmore is “hunting” Ben and he “changed the rules” when Ben’s daughter was killed.
I’ll probably add some more theories later

Just a little heads up –

woohoo! totally called it – the island is floating outside of time. the rest of the theories have yet to be revealed.
i wonder why only charlotte is experiencing the effects of “time travel jet lag”…will she have to find her parents (who were part of the dharma initiative) before its too late?
also – i think kate is trying to meet up with sawyer’s “long con” lady, the woman kate met and who helped kate escape the feds. my guess is that sawyer wants to repay the woman and needs kate’s help to do it.
