What is Mondo?

The Mondo Layer of Christ-Centered Community starts with the Trinity and expands to include everyone throughout history and across the globe who centers on Jesus Christ. Synonymous words for describing Mondo-Layer groups include: the “C”hurch, God’s Family, Heaven, the Bride of Christ.

Why the Mondo Course?

This course contains a framework for Christians who want to dig deeper into Church History, the BIG questions, and take their church network / big group to the next level. The structure in Mondo is accessible and straightforward for new and seasoned Christians alike.

The Point

The Mondo Layer course gives practical steps to hear the Lord’s voice and see his face in Christians throughout time and space. It positions Christians to live with a heightened awareness and mindful posture.

Who is GodGrown?

Godgrown is a collective centered on God, providing resources in spiritual formation. Mark and Katrina Willis (the people behind Godgrown) live in Chicago -- the city of onions! -- and there participate in a multi-layered, organic church network. Like the layers of the onion, they started to observe the unique layers of church gathering – and the unique needs and realities that correspond to the scale of each layer. They are pleased to present this course, as they unpack nuances and unique observations specific to the Mondo Layer.

Here is how it works:

You log on from your computer - from the comfort of your own home, office or even a local coffee shop -- any time of the day that suits you. There are no scheduled meeting times and everything will be posted on the class blog. Interaction, troubleshooting and participation happen on the course blog! Lessons are posted on weekdays in PDF and in audio files (so you can download and listen to the session on your computer or mobile device, too.) All you need is a computer and little bit of time!
